Best of StateAPRIL 11, 2016 – Kids Village is excited to announce that they have been named Best of State 2016 for Best Private Preschool and Best Early Childhood Educator in Utah.

This is the second year in a row that Kids Village has been awarded the honor of being named Best Private Preschool in Utah and the first year of receiving an award for Best Early Childhood Educator in Utah. Kids Village hopes to make these awards a yearly tradition.

The Best of State awards recognize organizations and businesses in Utah. Each nominated business is judged on the following criteria:

  • Achievement in the field of endeavor and producing superior results and outcomes
  • Innovation or creativity in approaches, techniques, methods or processes
  • Contribution to a better quality of life in Utah

Kids Village was chosen for these awards based on its outstanding curriculum, innovative and inspiring learning environment, dedicated expert teaching staff, philanthropic efforts, and a commitment to developing the minds of the children of Utah.

Research through the High/Scope Perry Preschool Study shows that individuals enrolled in a preschool program with high-quality curriculum and a conscientious learning environment ultimately earned on average $2,000 more per month in adulthood than those who did not attend a quality preschool program. It also showed that those who participated in early childhood educational programs are more likely to graduate from high school, own homes, and have longer marriages.

The Kids Village learning experience centers on Saxon’s Early Learning, Math, and Phonics curriculums, which has been one of the top 3 curriculums in the nation for 30 years. Kids Village combines this curriculum with its own proprietary teaching method that uses a hands-on approach incorporating all five senses in learning. The combination of these methods establishes a foundation for understanding complex ideas, thinking outside the box, and applying skills long-term in real life situations.

In addition to these prestigious awards, Kids Village was also awarded the 2016 honor of Best Preschool in Utah by Utah Valley 360.

Kids Village would like to thank the outstanding educators, administrators, families, and children who made this award possible.
